Major engagements of any type, are usually lead by a respected, experienced, high profile, influential person often referred to as a Project Manager.  Because of their proven skill sets and perceived ability to deliver results, these persons are responsible to senior management for the successful implementation of these engagements on-time and under budget.  Supply Management associates often report to and/or support these Project Managers and the organizational teams that report to them.  What if YOU were the Project Manager?  Do you have the skills . . . do you have the knowledge, instincts and qualifications to drive the team and gain the respect needed to excel?  Can you be that person  . . . the Project Manager?  You will be surprised that it just might be easier than you ever could imagine!

About the Speaker:
Ron Heere, is a procurement professional with more than 40+ years experience in the private sector whose background includes the disciplines of strategic sourcing, procurement, negotiations, contracts administration, logistics, field procurement, document management and expediting. Ron’s experience is equally divided between engineering/construction (where he has managed directly or indirectly projects with a total installed cost exceeding $16B+ globally in the energy, pharmaceutical, petro-chemical, medical devices and metals industries) and facilities management where he has supported $12B+ in global facilities agreements across internal client organizations including HR, IT, facilities, transportation, marketing, travel, real-estate and energy management.  Mr. Heere has also designed, implemented and managed technological / administrative systems including eProcurement, Pro-Card, Catalog and Travel.  Ron is currently the Worldwide Construction Category Manager at Becton Dickinson, a global medical devices company where he transformed their construction procurement program from “Fire-Fighting” to a “Best In Class” rating as evaluated by consultant A.T. Kearney while delivering in excess of $45M in audited bottom line savings.. Ron has supported both local, regional and corporate initiatives, working with or managing groups of 5 to 1,000 employees and holds two (2) Masters from Drexel University in Organizational Behavior and Business Law. He presently serves as Immediate Past President on the ISM-Phila Board of Directors
