ISM Membership Types
When you are a regular member of ISM-Philadelphia you are also a National member and have access to benefits and services that will help you get and stay at the top of your profession.
We offer our members an excellent opportunity for networking and education. Meetings are local and are usually held on the second Thursday of each month. ISM-Philadelphia is a vibrant, growing and stable resource for you professionally.

Regular Members also receive membership in the Institute for Supply Management, Inc. (ISM), and have voting rights for ISM-Philadelphia. Join Online
Affiliate Members do not receive membership in ISM and have no voting rights. Affiliate Memberships are not pro-rated. Join Online
Dues Free-Memberships include:
Lifetime Membership is available for persons who have Regular Members for ten (10) years or more, have retired from all regular employment and have been approved for this category by a majority vote of the Regular Members of ISM-Philadelphia. Lifetime members are Regular voting members. Contact Us for information.
Unemployed or Active Military Membership is available for persons who have been a member of ISM and are unemployed for six months, excluding first-time membership applicants, provided that the affiliate also waives the affiliate dues. Dues free membership will be extended to those members serving in full-time active military duty for the length of their service, provided that the affiliate also waives the affiliate dues. Members under this class are Regular voting members.
Honorary Membership is available to persons who are not eligible for Regular Membership, have rendered distinguished or unusual services to the purchasing and materials management profession, and who has been elected by vote of the Board of Directors of the Association and by a vote of the regular members of the Association. Student Members must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled full-time in an accredited community college or four-year college or university. Students receive all benefits of membership in ISM and ISM-Philadelphia and are exempted from payments of all dues and fees. Student Membership is non-voting.
Academician Members must be full-time teachers, research specialists, department head, directors or deans of a college, university, other academic institution whose academic responsibility includes purchasing management or materials management or other related fields or subjects. Academician membership is non-voting.
