Harvey P Sommerer Memorial Scholarship Award

Harvey Sommerer was an ISM-Philadelphia member since 1976. He was a Lifetime member and possessed a C.P.M. He worked in NJ and retired to Florida. By his bequest, he affirmed his love of and dedication to supply management and the importance which education plays in the pursuit of excellence in our profession. We are indeed indebted to Harvey Sommerer for his generosity and thoughtfulness.

The Harvey P Sommerer Memorial Scholarship will provide a $1,000 scholarship to assist a College/University student who is pursuing a Supply Management or related undergraduate or graduate degree.  Candidates may apply for the award each year but may only win the award one time.

A Scholarship Awards Committee consisting of no less than three ISM-Philadelphia members is responsible for selecting the awardees. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to not grant scholarships if, in their opinion, no qualifying applications are received.
